"Good food, nice atmosphere"

We're guests at the Inn and have had one breakfast and two dinners in the Tavern so far. Breakfast was delicious and we really like the deck. Dinner was very good too; we especially liked the live music on Tuesday night.

We stayed at the Inn and enjoyed excellent breakfasts on both mornings we were there. Great variety and good value. Gluten-free toast was even available which was a plus. The service was superb as well. In addition, we enjoyed great cocktails at the tavern in the evening and found the bartenders to be very engaging and proficient. Only had the nachos as an appetizer one evening and they were actually quite exceptional.

We recently moved to Wofeboro and had friends visiting us. We were delighted with Wolfe's Tavern. We were greeted warmly by a lovely young hostess. Everyone had a smile on their face. Our waitress was warm and informative. Kudos to Jen Lee. My husband likes to kid with our waitresses when appropriate and Jen went right along with him. She was charming, delightful and informative. It was Saturday and Prime Rib was featured. We all agreed it was the best we'd ever had.
We will certainly be going back to the Inn often. ...trip advisor

Tavern - We ate there Friday and Saturday night and Sunday morning
- The bar on Friday was fun lots of locals great service and food was excellent
- Saturday ate in the restaurant and the service was good and the food was excellent. Once the order was put in very quick and cooked to perfect temperatures.
- Sunday we just had (wish we had more time to do brunch) breakfast. The waiter/kitchen was nice enough to create breakfast sandwich for my wife Dale and I had the Eggs Benedict which was outstanding (real Hollandaise?) eggs perfect consistency.

"Chef's Table at Wolfe's Tavern....Amazing!"
Reviewed February 10, 2013
On Friday night in the midst of a snow storm we had the great good fortune to have an amazing Chef's Table dinner at the Tavern. The management had generously donated this Chef's Table for Six to a local non-profit to be used as an auction item at a fundraiser. My husband made the winnig bid and we shared this wonderful evening with four good friends.
The food was amazing and so plentiful, I don't know how we managed to eat it all. We shared three different apps, three different salads, three different entrees and three different desserts! All of our portions were large. We were treated like royalty by George, the General Manager, our lovely waitress, Chef Hoke and his assistants, Dale and Elijah, and Scott, the Food and Beverage Manager. I have never felt like such a VIP.
The Inn has become a favorite place under George's management the last few years. Chef Hoke was the missing piece that finally brought the Inn back to it's present great place to eat.
George plans to offer a Chef's Table experience to the public on a monthly basis. Anyone interested should contact the Inn for information. We definitely intend to do it again.

My husband and I visit here annually primarily because of the kitchen staff! Both the chefs Hoke and Elijah are amazingly accommodating when it comes to people with food allergies! They personally come out to your table and help develop a meal on the spot that suits your needs and your taste buds! They consider this a good challenge to their craft and have so much fun with it! The good is always amazing and never lacks flavor or satisfaction!
