"Great beer selection"
Reviewed November 8, 2015 I have been going here every summer for 15 years. It took me 6 years to earn my own mug form their beer challenge. I enjoy talking to the locals that frequent the bar at lunchtime. Staff is helpful and very friendly. Food is very good as well.

"A must stop"
Reviewed October 27, 2015 Wolfes Tavern, located in the Wolfeboro Inn is a "must stop" each and every time we are in the Lakes region. My active family and I do a lot of hiking on the many trails and mountains in the area. The food and the service at Wolfes is always outstanding. We have even been known to drive the 60 miles from Kennebunkport, on a snowy afternoon, just to have the Rattlesnake Island Burger or the Avocado BLT with a piping hot bowl of French Onion Soup. Take a family hike up Mt Major, Bald Peak or Mt Roberts and always stop at Wolfes! You will not be disappointed.

"Great Service!"
October 24, 2015 Stopped in with some friends for a couple of drinks and appetizers. The service and atmosphere was great.

"It Really IS the Best Pub in NH!"
Reviewed September 15, 2015 Wolfe's Tavern has been around since 1812, and there's a good reason why--it's great! The same menu is available in the pub as in the dining room, almost all of it is supplied by local vendors, and it is superbly prepared by an outstanding chef! Incredible specials that change every day, and the home-made strawberry preserves at breakfast are to die for! Wine selection is excellent. The bar is cozy, and for the regular patrons there is a 50 martini or 100 beer "club" where, after having 50 different martinis or 100 beers from a list of exciting selections (only 2 per visit!) you get a personalized pewter martini glass or pewter beer mug and other perks (but only after you kiss the moose!). Great place for families and large gatherings. Our server, was excellent.

"Extremely good.."
Reviewed September 15, 2015 We were there for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Such a beautiful day, we sat outside on the deck, under an umbrella...It was so peaceful..Our waitress was very nice..we were impressed that she could list every single beer they sold, without thinking or reading it..and they carry a lot of beers..I got the Reuben (corn-beef) sandwich..It had hugh chunks of fresh corn-beef in it and so good...the coleslaw was freshly made & very good. My friend got a hamburger &wow..that was a meal in its self..The sweet potato fries were excellent. We'll go back.

"Absolutely delicious!"
Reviewed August 22, 2015 via mobile We ate here twice on our recent trip to Wolfeboro. On both visits, we had amazing meals. The food is high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. Wolfe's tavern clearly takes pride in their food. We can't wait to go back!

"Worth the drive"
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2015 Drove 35 miles from North Conway for lunch. We were offered indoor seating or outdoor seating. Hostess very helpful. We were seated in 10 minutes in a room with hundreds of pewter mugs hanging from the ceiling which belong to customers. Service was great. Menu selections were very creative and unique. Food was outstanding and portions were ample. Other meals served around us looked scrumptious. Well worth the drive.
